Our current research focuses on the following areas:

(1) Investigation of the pathogenic mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases
(2) Elucidation of the molecular basis of neurotransmitter release and its regulation
(3) Identification of ubiquitination machinery and its substrate proteins at synaptic terminals
(4) Delineation of the mechanism underlying coordinated regulation of vesicular trafficking and signal transduction
