Research in my laboratory focuses on the role of environmental and genetic factors involved in neurological disease, with an emphasis on regulation of monoamines. We have developed a mouse model of Parkinson's disease that displays progressive loss of dopamine neurons and a variety of motor and non-motor symptoms of the disease.
